Market analysis on contemporary counterfeit industry of Bangladesh

The report presents information and analysis of counterfeiting in five different sectors of Bangladesh: food & beverage, consumer products (homecare & personal care), cosmetics and electronics. The main elements of the report include but are not limited to: an overview of Bangladesh’s anti-counterfeiting policy, the current condition (major sectors and driving factors), the distribution of counterfeit products, perceptions of various stakeholders, and sector-wise overviews. The study was conducted in Dhaka and Chittagong.
